Travel grants
Student members of the Swiss Physiological Society (see definition under Membership) can apply for travel support to attend congresses, symposia or courses. The SPS Committee will award funding from SPS funds according to the guidelines below or forward the application to USGEB (USGEB Travel Grant funding). Note: direct application to USGEB is not possible.
Guidelines to claim travel support / forwarding to USGEB
- You must be a member of the SPS
- As a general rule, only applications from "Student Members" will be considered (for clarification, see Membership).
- You must be an active participant (main author of a poster or communication).
- The decision to forward the application to the USGEB or to grant support from SPS funds will be based on qualification criteria (academic position, age, previous support, event, active participation, etc.). Preference will be given to young first-time applicants.
- Currently, the maximum amount that can be awarded to the same person within 2 years is Fr. 1400.- (USGEB and SPS combined).
- You will receive reimbursement only after the trip and after we receive your original receipts (no photocopies).
